It is with deep regret that the Village of Burton acknowledges the passing of Mayor Jim Koster.  Jim faithfully served the Village and the community at large for much of his life.  We are deeply mourning this loss and we extend our condolences to Jim’s wife Jan and the rest of his family.

Under Ohio law, the President of Council—Joe Hernandez--will fulfill the role of Mayor until a new Mayor is elected at the general election in November of this year.
Mayor Koster's obituary and arrangements can be found here.
