Spring Clean Up - May 11th

The Village of Burton will hold Spring Clean Up on Saturday, May 11th. Village residents may start taking items to the curb May 4th. All items will need to be at the curb by 6:00 AM on May 11th. The following rules apply:

  • - No paint, tires, brush, hazardous chemicals, batteries, yard waste or boxes weighting more than 150 pounds.
  • - Freon doesn’t have to be removed from appliances. Doors must be removed from refrigerators and freezers
  • - All small debris must be tied, bagged or in containers
  • - There is a maximum of 15 minutes loading time per address
  • - Once the crews have passed your property, they will not be back.

Brush Pickup - May 20th

  • - Stack brush at the curb, cut end toward the street, but not protruding into the street
  • - Brush must be no larger than 5 inches in diameter and 5 feet long
  • - Normal yard debris, branches and trimmings only. No garden or flower bed debris.
  • - Once the pick-up crews have passed your property, they will not be back!

Payment plans are available to anyone who is having trouble paying their water/sewer bill. If you are making regularly scheduled payments on a payment plan, your account is not delinquent.
