The Village of Burton will hold Trick or Treat on Sunday, October 31st from 6PM to 7:30PM. If you will be handing out candy, please make sure to turn your porch light on. We ask that you ensure 6-foot social distancing while distributing treats and recommend the use of face coverings. As recommended by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH), social distancing can be accomplished by placing treats on porch steps or a table in the driveway with a sign asking children to take only one. ODH recommends using creative ways to distribute treats, such as a candy “slide” made of PVC pipe, or hanging treats from a wall or fence. ODH suggests setting up hand-sanitizing stations if children select their own treats from a bowl/common container.

Early Reminder:

Village Utility Department will be starting hydrant flushing September 27th to October 8th 2021 8am to 3pm weekdays only.
Look for signs posted at Village square and signs will be posted on streets as utility workers are flushing.
Reminders will be on your Utility Bills!
